- NATURE OF DATA PROVISION
The provision of Data through Cookies, with the exception of those collected through Technical and Performance Cookies, takes place on the basis of the consent of the Data Subjects and is optional. - DATA RETENTION
Data will be stored for the time provided for by each categories of cookies for which reference should be made to the tables containing the relative retention terms.

Data processing is carried out by Barilla’s internal staff appointed for this purpose as Data Processor or person in charge of processing. The Data collected for the execution of the specified purposes will also be processed by third parties appointed as external Data Processors for this purpose, or, depending on the case, communicated to the latter as independent data controllers, namely to: i) companies that are part of our group of companies for the purposes specified above; persons, companies, associations or professional firms that provide assistance and consultancy to Barilla, as well as in accounting, administrative, legal, tax and financial matters; ii) companies, bodies, associations that provide related and instrumental services in order to allow Data Subjects to browse the Site; iii) public administrations for the execution of institutional functions within the limits established by law and by regulations.
Furthermore, the Data may be made available, disclosed and transferred to Public Bodies, Judicial Authorities, Law Enforcement Agencies, which will treat them as autonomous Data Controllers in order to comply with requests for verification or where expressly provided for by law.

- REDIRECT TO EXTERNAL SITES
Barilla Websites use special tools that allow to incorporate Social Network functionality directly into the Website (e.g. the Facebook’s “Insight” function). All the insights on the Website are aggregate statistics created by certain events recorded by Facebook servers when people interact with Pages and associated content.
When visiting a page on our Website and interacting with the plug-in (e.g. by clicking the “Like” button) or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted by the browser directly to the social networking platform (in this case Facebook) and stored there.
